We are proud to be part of these professional associations and organizations.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national construction industry trade association representing nearly 21,000 chapter members. Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC and its 70 chapters help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically, profitably and for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work. ABC's membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors of the industry.

Founded in 1857, members of the American Institute of Architects consistently work to create more valuable, healthy, secure, and sustainable buildings, neighborhoods, and communities. Through nearly 300 state and local chapters, the AIA advocates for public policies that promote economic vitality and public well being.  Members adhere to a code of ethics and conduct to ensure the highest professional standards. The AIA provides members with tools and resources to assist them in their careers and business as well as engaging civic and government leaders, and the public to find solutions to pressing issues facing our communities, institutions, nation and world.

Building Contractors Association is the only association that dedicates 100 percent of its work and revenues to the commercial construction industry of northeast Indiana. Our members are general and specialty contractors both merit shop and organized, architects and engineers, material suppliers and professional service providers, all of whom are working together to address issues of concern common to all under the umbrella of BCA.

The Design-Build Institute of America is the only organization that defines, teaches and promotes best practices in design-build. Design-build is an integrated approach that delivers design and construction services under one contract with a single point of responsibility. Owners select design-build to achieve best value while meeting schedule, cost and quality goals.

CME is happy to be one of the first supporters of the Fort Wayne Base Community Council.  It's mission: "To continue and improve the outstanding relationship between the civilian community and the military service community centered around Fort Wayne, Indiana. To promote the general welfare, prosperity, and quality of life between military and civilian populations. To assist public relations and sponsor such charitable and social functions as will promote these purposes consistent with the corporate charter and bylaws."

Created from the merger of the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Wayne-Allen County Economic Development Alliance, Greater Fort Wayne Inc. serves as a single point of contact for economic growth in greater Fort Wayne and complements and supports broader, regional efforts.

"The New Haven Chamber of Commerce will provide services to its members and, through its strategic partnerships, be a leader in promoting economic development for the benefit of the greater New Haven community."

The NIDIA (Northeast Indiana Defense Industry Association) was formed with the idea to help fuel industry development in our area. Starting in 2010 we worked with community educators to help develop and improve the local defense community’s ability to attract and retain the required talent to effectively execute business and improved interaction between the defense industry and suppliers in the region for accomplishment of better services to defense and homeland security customers.
